Privacy Policy

Oasis Bakery Pty Ltd (ABN 27 169 466 942) and Oasis Fairfield Pty Ltd (ABN 88 624 108 827) are the businesses operating under the Oasis brand (together, "Oasis", "we", "us" or "our"). We operate grocery, café, catering and food manufacturing businesses in Murrumbeena and Fairfield, Victoria. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), where they apply to us.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to give us through this website:

• Contact enquiries ("Write to Us"): enquiry type, first name, email address, phone number, company name (optional) and your message.
• Careers applications: name, email, phone, suburb and postcode, preferred location and role, right to work and any restrictions, driver's licence and transport, experience, qualifications, availability, preferred start date and hours, and anything else you tell us.
• Uploaded documents: your resume and optional cover letter.
• Email enquiries sent to our published addresses, such as wholesale enquiries.

Our forms also process submission timing and other basic technical request information to validate submissions, prevent spam, maintain security and diagnose errors. Our hosting and infrastructure providers may receive standard request information such as IP address, browser or device information, requested page, and date and time when they deliver the website.

How we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and provide the information or service you asked about.
• To assess job applications and contact you about roles.
• To protect our website and forms from spam and misuse.

We do not sell your personal information. We will not use it for marketing unless you have agreed to that separately.

Storage and security

Contact form submissions are sent by email to authorised Oasis staff and are not saved in the website's form database. Careers application details are stored in a private, access-controlled database. Resumes and optional cover letters are stored separately in private file storage. Authorised staff receive secure links to those files that expire after 30 days.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online transmission or storage system is completely secure. Job application, resume and cover-letter retention period: [TO CONFIRM — six months has been suggested but not approved].

Service providers

We use service providers that receive information only as needed to provide their services. They may process or store information outside Australia:

• Lovable and its hosting infrastructure host and deliver this website and provide operational error reporting and security services. They may receive standard website request and diagnostic information.
• Lovable Cloud provides the private database and file storage used for careers applications, resumes and cover letters.
• Lovable's managed email service is configured to deliver contact enquiries and careers notifications to Oasis, including the submitted details and secure document links. The sender domain is currently awaiting verification, so this delivery service is configured but not yet active.
• Google Fonts supplies the website fonts. When your browser requests those font files, Google may receive standard request information such as your IP address and browser details.
• Shopify operates the separate grocery and catering ordering websites. If you follow those links and place an order, Shopify and the relevant Oasis business receive the information required to process your visit, checkout and order under the policies shown on that platform.
• Square operates the separate Murrumbeena and Fairfield café ordering websites. If you follow those links and place an order, Square and the relevant Oasis business receive the information required to process your visit, checkout and order under the policies shown on that platform.

The site also links to Google Maps and Instagram. Those services do not receive information merely because their links appear here, but they may collect information under their own policies if you choose to open them.

Cookies and analytics

Our review of the website configuration as at 2 October 2026 found no active customer analytics service, advertising pixel or marketing-tracking integration. We therefore do not currently use this website to build advertising profiles or measure visitors through those tools.

The website's technical platform includes essential local-storage and cookie capabilities for security and session functions, although the current public pages do not offer customer accounts. Hosting infrastructure may also use essential technical measures to deliver and protect the site. If analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking is added later, this policy and any required consent controls must be updated before that tracking is activated. Shopify, Square, Google Maps, Instagram and other sites you open from our links may use their own cookies or tracking under their own policies.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by emailing contact@oasisonline.com.au. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
